No longer a baby/toddler
After being home for the past two weeks on Christmas vacation, I came to the realization that Emma is no longer a baby or a toddler. She has turned into a kid. Her mannerisms, her actions, her communication skills, etc show all those of a real kid.
I have absolutely LOVED being home with her the past couple of weeks. She has been so much fun. Emma loves putting puzzles together, playing games, imagination, playing outside, doing arts and crafts, learning letters and numbers. Emma also has started holding her pencil, pen or marker the right way and has done a great job tracing letters and numbers.
Emma can also dress herself completely. She has been able to put her shirt and pants on by herself, but now she has mastered putting her socks and some shoes on.
In a way, I’m very sad that our baby girl is gone, but I am so happy we have a wonderful little girl. She is such a sassy joy to have in our lives! Love you little munchkin!
