Music Night
After Travis got home from work, he went to practice music on his guitar. Emma quickly joined in with the drums, then Darby joined in with the vocals. Check out the video of Em playing the drums and guitar click drums and guitar to see them.

Christmas Day 2008
Emma must have been very excited about Christmas eve and even more about Christmas day. She decided at 3:45 AM, that it was time to wake up. We quickly decided that was not right, and she slept until 8:30.
Once awake, we went down to see if Santa had made a second trip to the house. He dropped off a house, laptop (or a “umputer like daddy’s”), and stocking stuffers. Emma really enjoyed seeing more stuff along with her drums still there.
After a quick time of playing with the house, we headed over to the Yeager house for Christmas day. We were soon followed by Morgan, Logan, Layne, Amanda, Granny and Pop. We spent the two hours opening gifts for everyone. Emma enjoyed getting dolls, books, dvd’s, tag system, pj’s, money, and much more. She also enjoyed a day of playing with everything and playing with Morgan and “Lo Man”. Again, to excited to take a nap.Â
After a non-nap, we sat and ate our delicious Christmas lunch and more playtime.Â
Christmas day was a great time with family and friends. Emma enjoys hanging out with all of the children her own age.  Emma was very excited and I know she will have memories that will last forever and we will hear about them for a long time! (More pictures to come later)

Christmas Eve 2008
Omigosh! I think this was the most exciting Christmas ever. Emma started getting excited over Thanksgiving break when the tree and decorations started going up.Â
The day before Christmas, Emma and I headed over to the Barrs house to bake cookies for Santa. Emma and I had a blast rolling out the cookie dough and cutting different shapes; bodiless snowmen, one armed gingerbreadmen, trees, stockings (or socks), bells, and a handprint of Emma’s. We created each cookie with love and a mess. We both shared lots of raw dough, laughs and memories.
On Christmas eve, we headed back over to the Barrs’ house to decorate the cookies with Travis. We enjoyed decorating and again…making a mess.
After naps, we got dressed up and were ready to go to church. Before heading to church, we left out cookies and milk for Santa and left food for his 5 (says Emma) reindeer. We had to be prepared incase Santa came while we were at church.
After church we arrived back at our house for Christmas with the Barrs family. Emma walked in to see her brand new set of PURPLE DRUMS! Yes, a full set of drums; snare, tom-tom, bass, high-hat, crash, stool and sticks. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. She was so shocked. She clung to my leg. Emma also got a Dora watch, American Doll (with guitar, microphone, stand, sign, and spare outfit), an art easel, tag book system. She had a great Christmas with the Barrs family. She is very lucky to have such wonderful Grandparents and Great-Grandmother. (More pictures will be posted soon, I have to get them from the Barrs camera).

Snow Days/Gingerbread House
Today at our church AUMC, was snow day. This was perfect timing, since we just had a real snow day. Emma, Morgan, and Logan enjoyed playing in the snow together. They slid around, made snow balls, fell and much more.
Afterwards, we headed over to Grandmother and Papa’s house for naps, dinner and the decorating of gingerbread houses. It was interesting to watch Emma and Morgan decorate. Morgan was very specific with the location of each piece of candy. Emma on the other hand…the more the merrier! Aunt Lindsey and Baby “Homer” Dean, were able to watch the craziness of the gingerbread house via webcam. The girls enjoyed talking to aunt Lindsey. To see more pictures click here.

What to do???
We received a letter in the mail yesterday stating Emma’s pediatrician is pursuing other opportunities. Of course, I figure, great no more pediatrics. Well after some internet research I notice he is changing offices. I think he may be opening his own office in Champions-249 and Louetta. This location is very close to where I use to work.Â
Now I’m in a predicament…Do I stick with him and drive the distance because he is a great doctor and knows Emma? Or do I switch to a pediatrician on our side of the world?
Emma hardly goes tot he doctor. She goes for her yearly check up, her flu shot, and maybe a time or two in between…..What should I do????
SNOW
Yesterday 70 degrees…Today the high of 36 and snow…YES, SNOW. I haven’t seen real snow much in my life. Actually, NEVER. I spent the whole night amazed at the white flakes/balls fall from the sky. The whole backyard was a beautiful white cover. I loved it. I went out and in out and in. I kept taking pictures over and over. Then the battery died. I was bummed out.
Emma liked it, but wasn’t very interested. She cared more about her chocolate milk and Dora. Check out our other snowy pictures here.
Christmas Decorations
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.Â
This weekend I decorated for Christmas. It was hard to get motivated, but once I started, I couldn’t stop. I enjoyed it.
