Chuck E Cheese
On Sunday for the Barrs’ family dinner. We went to Chuck E Cheese. It was hard to tell who had more fun, Travis, Barry or Emma. Emma was so overwhelmed. She wanted to do everything, but didn’t want to take the time to do anything. After buying her a balloon she calmed down and started playing.  Emma loved earning tickets and keeping them in her pocket. She wanted to hold all 307 in her little sweater pocket. So cute!

21 Months Old
Em is now 21 months old!
Miss Personality!
Â
*Emma is a very happy child. She still has a very strong opinion and personality. It must be the Aries thing.Â
*Emma loves to cook in her kitchen. She will bring you a cup, hit her cup to it and say “cheers”.Â
*Every night Emma has to give Darby, Mommy and Daddy hugs, kisses, and tells us all night night. She will go to bed without a problem.
* Wakes each morning and “reads” in her bed. She has to go to bed with an Elmo book and three Backyardigans books. When we walk in, she says “good morning”
*Emma buckles the big latch of her carseat and most days will climb in herself.
*Emma says please and thank you when you give her something.
*She is still a wonderful little girl and we love her more everyday!
Jumping Joey’s
Emma was invited to our neighbors brithday party on January 5th. We decided to attend becuase we knew Emma would have a blast jumping on the inflatables. We were right she LOVED it. From the very beginning she was Ms. Independent. Climbing, going down big slides alone, etc. The cutest things was when we looked over and Emma and three other girls were sitting in a circle talking. It looked like girls sitting in a hot tub chatting. It was so cute. The party ended way to early for Emma. She pitched a fit when we left and carried on for 30 minutes. She loved it. We have now decided what we will be doing for her birthday.

Scrapbooking
I have been creating scrapbook pages for Emma. I will continue to post them under Emma’s Photos, Scrapbook pages. Check it out occasionally if you would like.
Fifth’s Disease
Since Emma had the allergic reaction to the antibiotic she has been breaking out in random rashes.  She will be fine one minute, then completely blochy and spotty the next. These breakouts do not bother Emma, just us. We were thinking maybe it was the detergent we used, maybe the weather, maybe she gets hot, etc. We finally were so disturbed by the randomness and how horrible the rash looked that we called the doctor. She has now been diagnosed with fifth’s disease or slapped cheek disease. Hopefully, Emma will recover quickly from the breakouts.Â
***Fifth’s Disease Definition—Especially common in kids between the ages of 5 and 15, fifth disease typically produces a distinctive red rash on the face that makes the child appear to have a “slapped cheek.” The rash then spreads to the trunk, arms, and legs. Fifth disease is actually just a viral illness that most kids recover from quickly and without complications.***
