This year was our year to spend Thanksgiving with the Barrs family.  It started out as a very cold day.  We enjoyed a morning of cooking at home then heading over for the day.  When we arrived at the Barrs house everyone was there; Poppy, Nana, Nanny, Grandpa, and Granny B.  We immediately took our christmas card pictures (our new tradition).  Afterwards, Emma ran all over the house, playing with Poppy and helping cook.  After a nap, it was time for the turkey dinner.  This was going to be fun since it was Emma’s first Thanksgiving eating real food.  She ate a little bit of turkey, but didn’t care for much more… Until Poppy offered her the turkey leg.  She loved it. 

After dinner and pie, Poppy and Emma enjoyed a game of cards and playing on the computer.  She LOVES her poppy.  There are so many pictures we took I will upload them to Emma’s photos, Thanksgiving 2007.  Go and check them out! 

 

 

On November 17th, Emma attended her friend Reagan Taylor’s 2nd birthday party at the zoo.  Reagan’s mom did a great job with animal masks, glasses, cups, blow up animals.  It was such a cute idea.  To bad Emma wasn’t in much of the party mood, but we did swing by and see a couple of animals.  The trip was short, but sweet.

 

 

For Emma’s second Halloween, we decided to go to the churches Trunk or Treat.  It was a very cool thing.  The church had bouncy slides of all sizes there, bean bag toss into a pumpkin, and trick or treating.  Emma had a great time.  She would bounce/slide, then treat, then slide, then treat.  This went on for an hour or so.  She came home with a lot of candy and a good time.
